Don Bowler, a certified radio marketing consultant, has more than 15 years of experience planning and directing advertising campaigns for clients in and around the Fredericksburg region.

Don spent the early part of his career working in the insurance industry; however, in 1993 his passion for advertising eventually led him to a sales position with Mid-Atlantic Network representing WBQB-FM (B101.5) and WFVA-AM (1230 AM).

Upon being hired he noticed his business cards labeled him as a "marketing consultant", yet he had been hired to merely sell advertising for the stations. In essence, he was supposed to be selling airtime. However, his manager quickly assured him radio sales representatives were known as marketing consultants.  It was at that very moment Don realized he must begin studying marketing.

Having always been an avid reader, he took this as on opportunity to become completely immersed in the science of marketing and advertising. Three years later, Don was awarded the highly regarded designation of Certified Radio Marketing Consultant.

After being recognized as the top sales leader with the President's Award for annual sales in excess of $500,000 in 2004 and 2005, Don was promoted to Senior Marketing Consultant.

His achievements in advertising largely stem from his passion for community. Having been avidly involved with a handful of nonprofits over the years, he has truly taken a stake in the Fredericksburg area; thus he is personally committed to his clients and their business's success.

He has worked with the Rappahannock United Way for 30 years, having served on the Board of Directors and as a Division Chair for Campaign Cabinet. He has also served as President of the Optimist Club of Fredericksburg and been a member of the Rotary Club of Stafford. He has volunteered with the Rappahannock Area Office on Youth, rang the bell for the Salvation Army, and has even helped to organize an annual golf tournament for the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank, raising over $100,000.
